EH; AV; Janson Acting Consul For Sweden 'haco building Manila Sir: With reference to your letter addressed to His Excellency, tHe President of the Philippines, regarding the proposed coming to the Philippines of Prof. J. G. Anderson to undertake archaeological studies, I beg to inform you that the Commonwealth Government, particularly the Bureau of Science, will welcome the visit of Prof. Anderson. The library and laboratory facilities of this Bureau will be at his disposal. It has been the established policy of the Bureau of Science to extend its facilities and coopera- tion to scientists from abroad who may wish to carry out scientific investigations in the Philippines. The Section of Anthropology of the National Museum Division of the Bureau of Science is also doing archaedogical study of the Philippines and the basic collection that Prof. Anderson may turn over to this Bureau will be a valuable addition to its collection.
