The stone was part of a large assemblage of ancient monuments called ‘Daggängsmonumentet’ that seems to have been a cult place. Tall stone with 6 horizontal figurative image fields, separated by horizontal borders and framed by a regular braided ribbon pattern. The imagery is badly weathered, but what remains to be seen, are a human sacrifice by hanging, possibly on a kind of altar, scenes from the legend of Hild known from Germanic heroic tradition including Old Norse poetry, and a large ship. Today, the stone stands in the outdoor exhibition of Bunge Museum.
