Today almost all the clothes from Nya Lödöse are gone. What remains are the shears used to cut wool from the sheep and the whorl from the spindle used to spin the wool into yarn. The sewing needle still exist, as does the thimble that protects your fingertip when you sew, as well as bottons, buckles and chain-link belts that had been attached to the clothes. We also have lead tokens. They look like coins but were attached to the expensive bolts of imported cloth to show where the cloth came from.

LEAD SEALS. These were often attached to bolts of imported cloth to show where the cloth came from and that it was of high quality. Two of the lead seals are from Göttingen in Germany and one is from Scotland. (NL:1916:2916, NL:1916:2919, NL:1917:985)

Idag är nästan alla kläder från Nya Lödöse borta. Kvar finns ullsaxen som fåren klipps med och sländtrissan från sländan som används till att spinna garn av ullen. Synålen finns kvar och fingerborgen som skyddar fingertoppen när du syr, och knappar, spännen och kedjebältet som suttit på kläderna. Några blymärken ser ut som mynt, de sitter på dyra rullar med importerat tyg. Märkningen visar var tyget kommer ifrån.
