The Three Kingdoms period of Korea is designated as the period starting in 57 BCE and ending in 668 CE. The name refers to the three kingdoms of Goguryeo (37 BCE – 668 CE), Baekje (18 BCE – 660 CE) and Silla (57 BCE – 935 CE). However, there was also the Gaya confederacy (42 CE – 562 CE), which was another organized entity on the Korean Peninsula. The area that these powers occupied included the entire Korean Peninsula and most of Manchuria, which are today parts of China and Russia.

De tre kungarikenas tid är i den koreanska historieskrivningen en period som sträcker sig från år 57 f Kr till år 668 e Kr. Namnet syftar på de tre kungarikena Goguryeo (37 f Kr – 668 e Kr), Baekje (18 f Kr – 660 e Kr) och Silla (57 f Kr – 935 e Kr). Det fanns också ett mindre förbund av hövdingadömen under den här perioden: konfederationen Gaya (42 f Kr – 562 e Kr). Dessa fyra riken sträckte sig tillsammans över hela den koreanska halvön och största delen av Manchuriet, som idag tillhör Kina och Ryssland.
