The sounds is recorded around 10:30 and shops have been open for about thirty minutes, but most of the Christmas shopping in Sweden is made in the afternoon when everyone gets off work - including me. So this is simply a quiet marketplace in the days bef...
This is the sound of a quite popular market area in central Norrköping, and there is a bustling crowd ready to go shopping! ...or lack thereof.
The sounds is recorded around 10:30 and shops have been open for about thirty minutes, but most of the Christmas shopping in Sweden is made in the afternoon when everyone gets off work - including me. So this is simply a quiet marketplace in the days before Christmas. In the background one can hear the music that the various shops play outside their entrances so that the holiday shopper will get in the right Christmas cheer. I am standing a bit of to the side so as to not raise any suspicion or be in the way of the persons actually out or working in the area.
