NH Stockholm, January 2nd, 1941. Mr. T.L. Yuan, Director of National Library of Peiping, Kunming, Yunnan, Ohina, Dear Mr. Yuan, In accordance with your wish we have sent two weeks ago as a gift & complete set of our Bulletin (vols. 1-12) to the address given (china Foundation). This means a very considerable value, but I am of the opinion that while it is not very important that American and European art collectors and amateurs can look at the pictures in this periodical, it ie of paramount importance that my Chinese colleagues and friende in Western China have access to the Bulletin and can make use of the scientific results embodied therån. It is therefore a pleasure to me to send you this gift. I have also forwarded by book post a number of photos of brons with kind regards Yours sincerely
