Dansmask av skuret och bemålat trä. Masken är målad röd med detaljer i svart, vitt och guld. Masken har runda, öppna ögon, något öppen mun med övre tandraden blottad. Masken har tänder av tunna plattor av pärlemor (varav fyra saknas). Masken har ett förgyllt diadem och mustascher och ögonbryn av hår. Det finns ett skägg av skinnband fastspikat runt haka och kinder med några hårrester kvar i. Det finns hål i sidorna med rester av snöre och gummiband i.

"Topeng is the historical mask play and deals with the old kings, princes and ministers of Majapahit and Gèlgèl. It is above all a ritual dance drama, ancestral worship that takes place in its purest form when performed silently by a single dancer dancing one type of character after the other (topeng pajegan). A complete set of masks (tapel) includes one or more kings, that is, refined smiling masks in white or yellow, a few 'strong' princes and ministers with darker skin colouring and round eyes, some wise, old ancestors and advisers (tua) and, as masks with individual features, the half-masks of the penasar as well as a profusion of eccentric common people, who, as opposed to the kings, ministers and old men, have speaking roles.
