  • Lipless bowl. Slightly inverted rim; deep bowl with almost straight wall; flattened base. Bright orange clay; orange slip; traces of tin coating.

  • The Asine Collection was brought to Sweden in 1930. It was first kept in the National Museum and then, in 1954, it was permanently transferred the Museum of Mediterranean and Near Eastern Antiquities.
Comments <itemDescription>
  • Surface flaky.
    In 1994 the tin on a sherd from MM Acc 1067 was analyzed by RIK on behalf of Dr Carole Gillis.
