Female portrait head with very small part of right shoulder preserved. Full, oval face with high forehead. Almond-shaped eyes with upper and lower eyelids indicated. Thin brow. Small mouth with rather full lips and slightly drooping corners. Front hair, delimited by a stephane, is arranged in a high, wide coiffure of seven horizontal, neat rows of small, tight curls with (except for top row) small drilling- holes in the centre. Additional drill-holes between locks. Behind the diadem the hair is arranged in many thin fish-bone plaits laid backwards and twisted together in a knot, hollowed in the middle. On each side of neck are two hanging locks. White, crystalline (probably Italic) marble.
