Description <itemDescription>
  • Moulded male head; oval head; straight hair combed downwards; the finge is parted in the middle; almond shaped eyes; straight nose; small, faintly smiling mouth; pointed chin; the unworked back part of the head is smoothed; a ridge is formed at the junction between back and front. Yellowish buff slip. Remains of red paint on surface.

  • Purchased in 1958 from G. De Parri (the landowner of the excavated area) by the intermediary of the Swedish Institute at Rome and with a grant from King Gustaf VI Adolf.
Condition <itemDescription>
  • Base/part of neck broken off. Several areas with pitted holes on surface. Larger losses on front right side below fringe and on left cheek. Red surface paint worn.
