Each ear-ring of so called ”a baule-type” is composed of a rectangular pendant of gold sheet, devided in two decorated panels and suspended from the figure of a dove. Each ear-ring of so called ”a baule-type” is composed of a rectangular pendant of gold sheet, devided in two decorated panels and suspended from the figure of a dove. The decoration is made of fine, gold threads, forming rosette patterns and flowers. Each pendant are hanging in a thin hoop, connected to the dove. One of the doves are also decorated with thin gold thread, rendering the shape of wings, eyes etc. The other dove has a thin relief pattern.

Earlier inv.nr. CK 311. The Greek doves and the Etruscan pendants has been put together in modern times. The ear-rings are very similar but are actually not a couple.
