The mask has been in long use. It depicts a young bull. The wood has cracked and decayed. It is painted in bluish-black. The nostrils are wide and painted in white, with red borders. The posture of the mouth suggests the act of grazing. The eyes glance sideways. The two horns are lightly painted in pink and black. The bo-leaf (the leaf of a sacred fig tree) mark on the forehead has been extended to the nostrils, and painted in yellow, with a red line in the middle. There are no ears, but two slots, where ears can be fixed, can be seen on the head.
