A village chieftain, a mudaliyar, mudali (Sin.).

Material
Wood, vel-kaduru (Sin.) (Nux vomica).
Iconography
The facial texture is smooth. It is painted in pink, the colour of king coconuts, tämbili pata (Sin.). The sideburns are painted in black. The features of the mask are indicative of an elite man with authority. The head is carved in such a way as to make it possible to wear the curved comb, nämi panava (Sin.). Chieftains wear the curved comb. The nose is straight and strong. The eyes are oval in shape and display a comely disposition.
