Cranium with mandible of Young adult/Mature adult Male. No obvious decorations present that is distinguishable from taphonomic modifications. Skull is relatively very clear with no/very little soil or adhering residue, and few roots. Skulls is two-tone in color; mostly a mottled darker reddish-brown, but lighter mottled light brown-tan "natural bone" color primarily on the left maxilla, orbit, frontal, parietal, and even lighter tan-white (but not bleached) on the palate, basicranium, and nuchal crest. Small patches on the right parietal show surface exfoliation where the darker red has flaked away to lighter bone beneath. Two small shallow postmortem cuts (from tools?) on frontal. Postmortem bone loss and associated weathering of the broken edges seen on max alveolus, both zygo arches, most of both occipital condyles, edges of foramen magnum. Mandibular posterior border lightly polished. No obvious trauma or osseous pathology. All max teeth except rUPM1 lost postmortem with postmortem damage and periodontal pitting across the alveolus. Mandibular alveolus is in better condition with much less pitting. Teeth show minimal-moderate degree of occlusal wear, worst on M1s. Small caries in the buccal groove pit (protostylid) of rLM3. Distal M2/mesial M3 crypt enlarged and partially destroyed by abcess. Zygo arches missing, left zygo loose and glued off-centre. Maxilla: Only the rUPM1 in situ, minimal wear. Mandible: Occlusal wear and/or postmortem enamel loss prevents some measurements.
