  • Moulded male head; oval face; straight hair, combed downwards; large, almond shaped eyes; straight nose; small mouth; pronounced Cupid’s bow; rounded chin; the unworked back part of the head is smoothed and taller than the front, forming a ridge at the junction between back and front. Brown to buff slip.

  • Purchased in 1958 from G. De Parri (the landowner of the excavated area) by the intermediary of the Swedish Institute at Rome and with a grant from King Gustaf VI Adolf.
Condition <itemDescription>
  • Damaged at top of crown, hair and at right cheek. Part of base missing.
