Minotaur with short, cylindrical animal’s body (The centaurs from Ayia Irini are referred to as minotaurs by Gjerstad since they have human head and torso, and the body of a bull instead of a horse). Tail falling along right hind leg. Hollow legs tapering downwards. Two holes, one in front and one at back. Traces of genitalia above front-hole. Human cylindrical body with marked upper line. Arms uplifted, female breast in armpits. Triangular head with short beard. Open mouth with roughly shaped lips. Pellet ears, short, pellet nose. Projecting, oval eyes with ridged eyebrows. Conical helmet with nose cover. Hair plaits tied up around helmet and kept together in a knot on back of head. Two snakes coiling on animal’s sides, and up the back of the human body. Wheelmade body. Red-brown clay, black core, reddish slip.
