Painting by Chao Chung, Mu of the Yuen Dynasty (A.D. 1260) representing the Lunperor Ming Whang of the Tang Dynasty, dissuised as an itinerant pedlar, and amusing hinself with the young princess in the ground of his palace. ) Silk (size: length 5' 2" x width 3' 6") Pine tree, bird of longevity and flowers. Painting by Pien LoO of the Yuen Dynasty (A.D. 1260) bearing the Emperor's Seals of the Imperial Kien Lung and Kang Hsi collections, and also the sdls of three famous collectors. This painting shöws the vigorous and splendid brushwork of this fåmöus artist. Note the vigorous strokes of the pine tree and bamboog, and the aesthetic brushwork of the narcissus flowers and prunus flowers.
