0046 Stockholm the 1l7th of December 1935 Harry Oppenheim Esq, 5 b vount Street, London VW. 2, " Dear Mr. Oppenheim. I received from the firm Thomas Fall the seven magnificent photographs which you so very kindly ordered for our photographie archive. They are really magnificent contributions, and I thank you most sincerely for this spbååndid gift. I would like one day to get the opportunity of showing you our photographic archive which has gryn very considerably, I think it depicts at present approximately 30,000 objéots mostly of Chinese Art and it has proved to be a very useful tool in our research work. Alas, there was one thing I forgot to do, namely to tell my secretary to come to your house for that rubbing, I gvess you will find it easier to forgive me when I tell you that when I met her at the meeting of the Anglo-Swedish Society, she brougth me, together with my old friend, dr. Lagrelius the terrible news that my little grand-daughter had been drawned the day before. I confess that this report threw me entirely off my feet so you will certainly forgive me, I hope to pass thromgh hondon in March. Perhaps can we then be allowed to take this rubbing. Very sincerely yours
