I believe you will have no difficulty in coming to the same conclusion as Karlbeck & myself, but if you breek away a small SSRG6 of the superficial patina or lacquer, whichever it seems fö to be, this could be examined chemically & would I Muppgse Aettla the age of the bronze. I &ouvld ask you to hold the specimen insured for £120, which is the sum I gave for it. If you will send me the name of the direct steamboat line, London to Gothenburg, I can probably arrange for it to be sent by this, but it seems to me thet I must employ a professional exporter & packer on account of our Customs laws.
