I hope that, in turn, you receivel a first copy of my pap on the Paléolithique de Chine (I have told to the editor, Masson, to send it to you, a fortnight ago). Yesterday, I have also sent to you, two parcels (on account of the weight) the two quartzites and the atl from the Kansu, I suppose that the atlas belongs to Ovis ammon (a rat Small individual), although it is not absolutelj characteristical. Fo the quartzites, I have showed them to Breuil, whose opinion has been « actly the same as the mine: the smaller piece is surely artificially kroken; tlje larger one is less demonstrative., Nevertheless, Breuil thinks that it is possibly artificially kroken by a blow, the place o which I have indicated ty some lines (drawn with a pencil): the lines diverge from the supposed place of the blow, No doubt that the Kansu : Shensi loessic basins are the most important place for constructing t palaeolithic history of China.
