Andersson Museum of Far Eastern Antiquities Stockholm, Sweden Dear Dr. Andersson: I em pleased to tell you that the Trustees have given their permission for the loen of the four bronzes that you want. I have been inquiring into insurance and mailing rates. I find that to insure them both in transit and while on the premises in your Museum will cost about five or six dollars over a period of say eight weeksy (I am not sure how long you wish to keep your exhibition on so I have allowed enough time). We would send the bronzes first class registered post, and that. we think will also cost about five or six dollars for the postage both ways. We can arrange for the insurantce here and have you billed for itStwe would prepay the postage here for which you could reimburse us afterward. If these charges meet with your eapproval - of course you understand they are only tentative - the only thing we need to know now is the date on which you wish the bronzes to be there and the duration of the exhibition. We will be very glad to meet your needs as far as possible. It will be a favor if you can give us this information soon because the vacation schedule is on now and there is necessarily a certain amount of confusion in the office.
